Worked 2 years and 9 months in Dubai and returned to Sri Lanka. Then in 2012 went to Kuwait through Imaya Foreign Employment Agency and Agency paid me Rs. 70000/=. Worked two years and earned money and came back to Sri Lanka very safely.

I went to Dubai 1999 through the same agency. But I worked only 4 months. Because there were 15 children in that house. I informed the agency of destination country to send me to another house. They did not. Then I went to the agency. They blamed me and send back to the same house. I said them I need go to Sri Lanka. Then they prepared the ticket using my three months salary. Then I re migrate to Kuwait through same agency. Worked 1 year and 9 months. Again returned to Sri Lanka, because salary is very low.

1st house is not good. 18 children were there. Work load was very high. During this period my father passed away. They did not let me to go home. After 3 years I came to Sri Lanka and went to another house through the same agency. That house people were very good. Worked 3 years and returned to origin country now I am trying to go Kuwait through Trans gulf agency.

In 2010 I went to Qatar and after 2 years came back to Sri Lanka. After 4 months I went to Saudi Arabia through same agency. There were six children and I had to take care of them and had to help for lady employer when she cooks. As a agreement came back to Sri Lanka end of two years and re migrate to same house. Then after 3 years came back to Sri Lanka and again re migrate to same place. In the COVID duration 4 children were suffered from COVID . But I were safe. I were very lucky, Agency and people in destination country were very good. Worked 11 years in the same house and returned to Sri Lanka in 2021. Still They are calling me. Now I am very old. So can not go again.

I had to returned from Kuwait because of war. But after war 1991 I went Kuwait again and worked 3 years and returned to Sri Lanka and 1994 re migrate to Lebanon from same agency. Worked 2 years and re migrate to same place. For all these journeys I used another person's passport but passport picture is mine. The first time in Lebanon they send us through on visiting visa. All 20 of us stayed in same room near airport until someone come and choose the person. Some migrant workers stayed more than two weeks until someone choose them. I also stayed 2 days and 3rd day I spoke to the sponsor in Arabic and i informed them I know how to work with my experience. Then very new couple after their wedding bought me from them. They were very good and helped me to find out my daughter who left Sri Lanka before 2 years ago and missing.

Agency is not good. after something happened they did not helped me. Employer didn't pay me two months salary. So i ran out from that house. Embassy also not helpful. Work one and half year staying with my friend's boarding place without visa. I worked in cleaning company. I prepared new passport at general amnesty period in the destination country. Then after 6 years came back to Sri Lanka.
